The room was clean and quiet. They have the most hard and uncomfortable pillows ever. Every day I turned my bed around and 3 times they turned it back so I had to turn it around again. Other than when we arrived no one ever said irrashaimase or made us feel welcome. The breakfast was good value.

Simple/basic 1960's business hotel; but clean, quiet and good value for money in Japan. Close to Kyoto station, subway and Toji temple markets.

Dive-Ichi!
The hotel room is small. We requested 2 months ahead for triple sharing but we were given a room with just enough space for a 3rd bed to be squeezed in, leaving no room to stand, let alone leave our luggages! Unlike other hotels, check-in is at 3pm and check-out, 10am!
