Once you figured out how to get the hotel from the Kyoto station, everything gets convenient:) The room is small for two people with two carry on luggage, not matching the beds, which are quite comfortable and cozy though.

Extremely dirty under the beds. Looks like never was cleaned there. Lots of dust in the air because of that. The cost of the lunch and especially of the dinner buffet is gigantic!!!

Room was very comfortable and well-appointed. The location was excellent...next to Kyoto Station and the city bus terminal. The hotel staff are extremely professional and courteous. Overall, we had an excellent stay. We would stay at the Century Hotel again.

It's very close from Kyoto station and lots of dining options nearby. The room was smaller than what I saw from Orbitz. It looked like an upscale hotel, but I noticed that the bath amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were made in China, which was very disappointing. I developed some skin rashes which went away in a couple of days.

Fun in Kyoto
We actually stayed at the hotel for five nights. Four nights on the tour and one extra night with Hotels.com. They serve a very generous breakfast buffet which we really enjoyed. The hotel itself is very nice. It’s warm and inviting. But, in Japanese style, the rooms are extremely small. Small would be OK if there were places to put things, however there were no drawers and the night tables were so small you couldn’t even put your iPhone on them. The bathroom was also extremely small however, functional. Aside from that the room was comfortable. The bed was terrific, and the location was Excellent

Booking in was through a machine but they still need someone to help you, so would be friendlier if a person did the whole lot. Had a buffet their once, very over priced for the quality room was small but not the smallest we've had in Japan but it was clean and quite, very close to bus and trains.
