"The Schafli is a companion hotel to the Hotel Uzwil which is a good 4*.
Breakfast was at the Uzwil, a 10 minute walk but worth it as an above average breakfast in a lovely clean restaurant.
The bedroom at Schafli was clean, good sized shower room and functional. No staff on site and seems to cater over business overnight customers.
Very handy for the excellent rain service across Switzerland and cheaper than Zurich"
"Nice hotel. Rooms are clean, but pretty small. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient: 5-10 minutes walking distance to restaurants and stores, about 10 minutes to the train station."
"Very nice and modern hotel. Breakfast was great and location is only 15 minutes from the old town and right on the lakeshore. Only downside was the air conditioning unit being pretty small and weak for a large suite room."
"Die Unterkunft hat ein sehr gutes Preis Leistung Niveau. Einchecken mit Code Nummer auch früher wie 15:00 Uhr möglich. Sehr Gutes Frühstück.

"The rating and cost are way too high. It’s clean and otherwise nice but the front staff is rude. I asked THREE times for a room cleaning over my 3 night stay and it wasn’t done. Even left door tag requesting clean which staff removed and still didn’t clean. Would never staff here again."

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay.
