The hotel is amazing as are all the staff that work there. We had zero issues whilst staying at the hotel. The rooms are kept very tidy and cleaned to perfection. The overall tidiness of the hotel is also incredible, absolutely spotless. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and smiling. The breakfast was excellent. It had this lovely courtyard where you can enjoy the sunshine, and the location was brilliant, with front and back entrances onto two streets with really lovely shops and restaurants. It was super easy to get to the main train station. The only negative was that, in the rooms, you had to pay for tea and coffee, but this wasn't obvious. I had a nice stay at this hotel. I particularly liked the breakfast and the garden. The room was good, with a well stocked mini bar and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that might be an issue for some is the lack of AC. The ceiling mounted fan was fine for when I stayed in September but during a heat wave it might get too hot. The location is not that convenient for the centre of Munich but was perfect for the event I was attending.

Very nice hotel, feels very modern and new. Location is amazing, about 15 mins from the city centre on the tram which is right outside the hotel. It has great amenities and restaurants around it too. We were upgraded for free which was a really nice surprise. Parking is relatively expensive at 30 euros a day but you are in Munich and there are free alternatives around it if you have the time and patience to find them. If we ever stay in Munich again we will not look anywhere else but to stay at...

Had a fantastic stay at the motel 1! Rooms were very clean and modern, we got a corner room which was half the size of other rooms but well worth it for the massive windows covering the entire length of the room giving fantastic light and views! The shower is amazing, I literally didn't want to get out of it! The bar is nice but we found ourselves waiting to be served for long periods even when it wasnt busy. Good hotel in the sense of room standard, comfy bed, good housekeeping and great breakfast. 5/7 mins from Munich Hbf and 15 min stroll to Old Town. Surrounding area is not great albeit not unsafe, so options at night near the hotel as limited, but if you want to use as a base for venturing outside Munich (used train for days in Nurmburg and Salzburg) then hard to fault in the round. If i was travelling back to Munich i would have no hesitation about staying here again.

We had a long weekend in Munich and wanted to be convenient to the centre and Gasteig for a concert but not amongst night life. Location was great, only 50m from Lehel U-Bahn, itself only two stops from junction with S-Bahn 8, direct line from airport. Area is quiet and attractive but no more than 10/15 mins walk from central Munich - Marienplatz, shopping, restaurants, markets, museums and of course bier kellers, all of which we used.
