Hilton Munich keeps the good level of all Hilton I visited before. Nice facilities and comfortable rooms. Very good option at reasonable prices ( I booked 5 months before the trip). You can go from the Airport just directly to the Hotel. There is an underground station just under the Hotel , just use the elevator....Have Marienplatz 3 minutes from the Hotel using the subway
The hotel is located about 5-minute walk from Leuchtenbergring S Bahn station, which is around 10-minute train ride to Marienplatz. It's 1 station away from Munich Ost (Munich East) Train station. It would be very convenient if you are taking trains out of Ost. If you come from the airport, there is no transfer needed to reach the hotel. This S Bahn station is not as convenient as if you stay closer to the city center since there are just 2 S-line trains that go to that station from the city center; therefore, allow longer waiting time especially if you come back later in the evening.
Given that it's away from the city center, you can count on a quiet stay. Hotel is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. I was able to get good sleep on the 2 nights I stayed there. Breakfast is comparable to other hotels' breakfast offering with range of hot food, including Bavarian white sausages, to yogurt and cereal.
During my stay the hotel is under renovation, so during the day if you are around, you can hear some noise from the construction. (my stay dates are 7 & 8 of Nov. 2015)
I would definitely consider staying here again for my next visit to Munich.
Friendly staff and good breakfast. It's useful to have a kitchenette in the room on longer stays (I was there for 4 nights). The sauna area is great. The fitness room rather small and not terribly well ventilated. I had a room on the front, above the entrance and regrettably the smoke from those standing outside the front door to have a cigarette comes wafting through the open window.
On the last night I was there some residents chose to return to the hotel at about 4 am and have a loud party which ended just as my alarm went off at 06.30!
"Boutique hotel located 30min from airport by train"
This boutique hotel has modern decor conveniently located next door to the subway with a direct line to the airport by train. It is a 30 min walk to Marienplatz but a short subway ride. The rooms are a good size with great layout and nice decor. Our room didn't have any English channels but my daughter's room had additional channels along with the English speaking channels. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful breakfast offered from 6:30am- 10am. We found it noisy even on the 4th floor with the windows closed.
Good choice for a city break as it is, after all, only somewhere to rest one's head at night. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. They don't exactly go overboard with the toiletries in the bathroom but the towels were of a good standard and the shower was excellent. There could be some more hangers in the room though. Six for two people staying four nights was not really adequate. However, there were no complaints about the comfort of the bed and the overall standard of the room. It was quiet at the rear of the hotel where we enjoyed red squirrel-watching!!
The breakfasts were very good with a great choice. However, if you're looking for hot food then this is not the place for you. We had no problems with this though.
It had a nice bar and the staff were all very pleasant. We sat outside on several occasions enjoying the summer weather.
All in all we were happy with the hotel (only 10 minute walk to the nearest S-bahn station on Rosenheimer Strasse). Can recommend a visit.

Just east of the old town and across the Isar River, Haidhausen is home to Paulaner, one of Germany's biggest breweries. The Bavarian Parliament is also here, as is the Deutsches Museum, the Angel of Peace statue towers, and a large swimming pool at Ludwigsbrücke.
