Nice hotel , very friendly staff , great breakfast

Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!

Great location for town, has its own small car park, Mark, the owner, friendly and welcoming, Veggie breakfast lovely, clran room, clean shower, comfy bed. Would stay again if I'm in the area 😀

Good food and comfortable room

Our family get together weekend at The Old Oak Tree was supreme! Absolutely faultless from arriving, check-in, accommodation, welcome, rear patio/beer garden, drinks service, dinner food and service. Breakfast was fantastic, the whole team was attentive, polite and helpful from beginning to end - a totally positive experience. The Old Oak Tree is fabulous in all departments!!

First off, Sue (the owner) is just the best! I phoned in advance and asked a couple of favours of her, to put a couple of gifts in the room to surprise my girlfriend. Not only did she do it but she did it for less than budget! (If you do ask something of her like this, it's only fair to reward the wonderful lady with a gift of her own. OK?! Haha!) 2 night country break, great location on market square, town is great base for the area.off street parking as well. Dined both nights in hotel, very pleased with food.nice relaxed bar/dining space with outside (viewing onto main st) seating.

Excellent accommodation. Can not fault it. Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Rooms are nice decorated and clean. Will be staying again.

High Paradise Farm aptly named as this place is truly magical. I loved the individual character of my room which had all amenities to make it a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. Well stocked kitchenette, lovely big bathroom and very comfortable bed. I particularly valued the privacy this place offered. Ginny (one of the owners) was around and extremely helpful and friendly. I love the ethos of this place and will definitely return come rain or shine.

Excellent quality cooked breakfast. Our room was in the Chalets out the back of the pub with every thing we needed provided including biscuits and a hair dryer!

Such a beautiful, grand and gracious hotel, this is in a perfect spot in Ripon. We were looked after as if very special guests by all the staff. The food was so delicious, a unique and delicious breakfast. Totally recommended

This place is a HUGE hidden gem! From start to finish, the service, staff, spa, value for money, everything was fantastic! We have stayed in many many hotels in the UK and this hotel has to be our favourite. The secret garden spa for an extra £25pp is worth every penny! We stayed in Tiplady 4 and it was perfect sitting outside as it was south facing so ordered a bottle of wine and nibbles before going to Nu Sana for an evening meal. We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Free car parking! Easy to find , nice modern bedroom , shower ,tv , coffee tea etc , We managed to get the key early , Breakfast was Cooked freshly for us .

On arrival we were greeted very warmly and show to our room which was spotless. After settling in we went back down to the bar area and were made to feel very welcome, we ordered a meal and went to the restaurant the food was great. Breakfast was ordered the night before and you were asked what time you would like it, this was also great and set us up for the day. Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.
