"The location was very good especially for buses and trams. The flat was nothing special, in fact it was very poorly furnished, cheapest of furniture, no tissues, no paper towel, no cloths to wipe the counters or bathroom, two tiny containers of soap and shampoo for two people for an entire week. Give the minimum and pay the maximum. Also, asking for more money as an excuse to get access to the key box was the final straw. I will NEVER rent with Altido or Joivey again."

"This is a good option for being right in the center of Edinburgh. Lots of restaurant and shops nearby and walking distance to many attractions. The staff was very helpful, My one complaint was that the room was over heated with no way of cooling it off but overall a nice Hote in a good location."

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to everything—major attractions like Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, restaurants, and shopping areas are all within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience with great service, great comfort, and a perfect location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh and would be happy to stay here again."

"Room clean I got the sense staff whilst helpful were reactive rather than pro. The pillows were possibly the worse I’ve ever slept on cheap and well used, I did ask for mattress toppers. None here so asked for extra duvet for my friend. I asked for more pillows.. hairdryer broken towel rail burning window latch dodgy and corridor switch falling apart. Breakfast like restaurant and bar were good For £800 for 3 nights I think a little more pro activity is needed. This may be cheap for Edinburgh but I expected better room.. view was a crane ! ( felt room was for us cheaper folk)!"

"I love breakfast, was so fresh and good quality, im so happy with it. The room is decent, nothing to complain, only thing is the pillow was too high, I couldnt sleep well with it. Wish there were thinner pillow for extra in the room instead of the same ones. Staff were quite friendly and helpful l, i feel i come back when I travel to Edinburgh sgain. ThanK you very much !"
