"Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride."

"13 ladies all had a fabulous time from start to finish. Fantastic place to unwind and forget about home life for a few days. The beds were so comfortable. House was amazing!! Loved every minute of our stay would highly recommend to family and group bookings!!"

"The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend"

"First impressions not good due to long grass and weeds against front wall and do No freezer box in fridge. We weren’t expecting a freezer compartment as not listed. Only one bedside lamp in main bedroom Only comfortable seats for three people in sitting room. Not a problem for us two Second bedroom inadequate for another couple no storage, again no problem for us. Couldn’t use allocated parking due to steep steps to house having no handrail QR info ok for us but many older people would be...

"Fabulous properties, comfortable surroundings and excellently stocked with everything you could need. Great walks and only 15 minutes drive into York. Great pub on the corner of the street….enjoyed by all!"

"Exceptionally well-presented holiday let - plenty of room with everything we needed. Very quiet, farm-land location with plenty of bird-life to keep us company and many places of interest nearby, including a local pub serving good food. Would happily stay here again."

"This place is spot on for a little retreat away from the bustle of nearby towns. The host is really lovely and accommodating. We had an issue with hot water that she resolved immediately. There’s lovely little touches like some welcome snacks. Honestly excellent value as well, you’d definitely not complain even if prices were higher given quality of the stay. "

"Stayed here as a family of 4 for a week in December (grown up kids). We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre."

"High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future."

"The cottage is lovely. Spacious and very comfortable. Lythe is a gorgeous village. Excellent shop and really good pub. We had Sunday lunch there. Very close to Sandsend which is a fantastic beach."

"Charming property in Pickering. Steps from Pickering centre and ten minutes from Pickering castle and train station. Great property for a family vacation. Pickering is a convenient base for day trips to North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and Whitby and Scarborough."

"Have never been to a Glamping pod before but would absolutely visit the little hide again. The pod was a good size and had everything we needed. Great location and the showers/ toilets are well kept. Would come back next time and will bring a disposable bbq to use at the shared area."

"Fantastic little apartment in a brilliant location. Apartment had everything you needed and more for a weekend away. We had apartment 5 right at the very top, so no noise. Theres 2 long stay car parks nearby at £6 for 24 hours.Only complaint would be the key code to get in. I really struggled with it, especially after a few drinks 😉"
