It felt like we were friends who had come for a visit after not seeing each other for many years. Food was great! The room was sweet and comfortable. We loved our stay and will plan on returning when we’re next ‘across the pond.’ When we were leaving, the owner came hurrying out to wave goodbye to us as we were pulling out of the driveway. "This place was a nice retreat from the city. The train station is a short walk and takes you into the city. Our room was a nice size and very comfortable and clean. The food (dinner and breakfast) were both amazing. I would definitely stay here again!"

"A great one night stay on the way to the far north in Scotland. A friendly greeting, lovely room and a delicious dinner with a licenced bar. All brilliant! We had been driving about 7 hours and went for a walk to the nearby waterfall to stretch our look legs before dinner. Lovely friendly hosts! Delicious breakfast too!"
