The gift basket that was left for us was filled with ample food, snacks, and wine for our visit. The town surrounding The Highland Club is small, cute, convenient, and everyone made you feel welcome. "A stunning hotel in a stunning part of Scotland. The room was perfect. The restaurant and lounge area were perfect areas to recharge the soul after a long day riding. The gnocchi special is one of the best restaurant dishes I have ever had. The breakfast was great. One small but personal niggle was the lack of haggis on the breakfast menu. That said it set me up for riding through Glencoe in the snow. My only problem with the hotel is that the parking isn't very biker friendly. I had difficulty getting a grip with my bike boots when trying to manoeuvre the bike. I tried both parking areas and both were slippy. I could have parked on the pavement on the front but it is a main road and I didn't want my bike to be a target. The gravel may be ok on rested legs but after a long day riding it wasn't easy for me. "
