This charming estuary town invites you to explore its colourful quayside and browse independent shops along Fore Street. Take a boat trip around the scenic harbour or time your visit for the popular Kingsbridge Fair Week festival.
The Globe Inn is a classic, old english pub. It is welcoming, as are the owner and the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have everything that you would need for a stay. It is also conveniently located for access to the coast, and local attractions such as Burgh Island and Salcombe.

One of the prettiest views anywhere in England from the balcony overlooking the estuary. Rooms are well decorated, spacious and have free gin. What’s not to like?

Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

We have just arrived back from a wonderful week at Burgh Island. The accommodation and location were perfect for what we were after. We all enjoyed the the pool area and the spacious balcony. The pilchard Inn and the Journeys End pubs are must visit locations.

We have just returned from a great weeks stay here. The host was great communication wise upfront gave us all information, we had some issues on the way and were later arriving than planned but our host made sure the heating was on for us getting there which made it a lovely welcome.
The property is as listed, very quirky but with everything you’d need for a weeks stay. So close to all Hope Cove has to offer. In a quiet corner. We would return.
