Moongazer is a charming cottage, with stylish soft furnishings on various levels with steep stairs.
Whilst the property was advertised has having parking for 2 cars, a legal issue has arisen with a neighbour which means you can’t park on the drive. There is free parking available down one side of the High Street, which is fine except when there are high winds as the front door doesn’t shut securely unless locked, so blew open and my dogs ran out into the road following me whilst unloading the car. A pretty scary incident and thankfully the passing car stopped.
The Hosts were extremely apologetic of the parking situation, but this wasn’t ideal for my family.
Having said that, the Cottage is in a great location for touring North West Norfolk, 6 min walk to Tesco Express and there are plenty of take away’s within the village. A delicious bakery treat is awaiting your arrival. Little extras for the dogs was a lovely touch, along with thoughtful additions such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and clothing detergent. Towels were super soft and bedding crisp. I would definitely return once the parking issue has been resolved.
