"Such a lovely lovely spot. Gorgeous little green space across the road to sit and enjoy the view. Outdoor patio for drinks and a very cozy guest lounge. Well equipped with games and books. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the biscuits and tea available in our room when we woke up. Food was also amazing. Hot, with fresh ingredients. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you very"

The Grey Gull Hotel

"The room was very small with barely any room around the double bed. I was travelling solo but it would have been very squashed for 2 people. There was a peg for handing but only 2 wooden coat hangers and I wire hanger. A huge TV was stood on the dressing table which completely blocked the view of the loch and meant that there was little space to put anything! Staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a problem with the boiler but alternative arrangements had been made which was fine. Breakfast was good."

"This place is pretty tired and no effort is made to make it look less tired than it is. The staff gives lots of good chat and is perfectly friendly but there was not much substance behind it. The milk I was promised for my room never materialised, room service was left in the hallway all day, etc. a charge for coffees at breakfast was added without being told there was a charge for « specialty ». Overall quite disappointing."

Brambles of Inveraray

"The Brambles was the favorite hotel for our group of 6 for our entire 15 day stay in Scotland. It’s everything you are looking for in an Inn. It’s cute, clean and comfortable. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Inveraray is a beautiful friendly town right on the water. Our breakfast at the Brambles restaurant was very good. We would also recommend dinner at The George Hotel right down the street followed by a stroll through the beautiful town. We also enjoyed the shops the next morning. Our only regret is not staying longer!"
