"Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had...

"You could stay on that balcony for ages , a stunning ever changing vista! When the weather is wild the views are still fabulous and moody. The dining room a stunning setting for a small family celebration and the well equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. Very comfortable house & we enjoyed the family table tennis competition! "Enjoyed our visit to the Castle Sween as well as the Kilmory Chapel. The loop from Talbert to Killberry Castle was stunning. We had an excellent meal in Tayvallich (the mussels were huge) last night there would most definitely visit this area again"

"This really is an awesome place - right next to Loch Fyne, quiet, very tidy and comfortable. The little nook by the Lake was perfect for sundown drinks. Inverrary Castle is close by and there’s a great market there to buy provisions. I highly recommend this stay."

"This home is in a small cove, 5 minutes walk from a top class hotel, has a superb view and no light pollution at night (haven’t seen so many stars for years). It is furnished to a very high standard, all appliances are virtually new and the sliding door/window with the view is a great bonus. The property manager was very helpful as well as the neighbour who allowed us access to the hills behind via his property ! Highly recommend"

"Waterside is a stunning property in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The property was well appointed and there was ample room for our family group of 8. We were blessed with great weather so enjoyed the views from the balcony. We made use of the information about the local attractions and went on the ferry to Tarbert as foot passengers (great advice), ate at Botanica at the Barn and Kames Hotel (both amazing) and spent a glorious day on Ostell Bay beach."

Location wonderful, opening door on deck from master bedroom made me aware of the tranquility of the area, with views and sunsets to always remember.
