Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!

What a lovely welcoming hotel in the centre of the village. Our dog had his own special treat on arrival of Posh dog wine. This made us all smile. I had let them know it was are anniversary and we also had a lovely surprise in our room. But oh my goodness the food it phenomenal from breakfast to lunch and then dinner WoW! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. We will be back

Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries.

Lovely staff who were helpful and courteous. Beautiful views and comfortable bedrooms. Clean, nicely decorated with all you need and plenty of space. We had room 5. The food was very good and the choice excellent. Would highly recommend and would certainly return.

The CB Inn has the best of a pub in terms of atmosphere and welcome, but the status of a hotel with the quality of the rooms and brilliant cuisine. All the staff were interested and knowledgeable about the food we ordered. The setting is idyllic, looking down the peaceful dale, with walks all around from the doorstep.

Just stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Friendly helpful staff and a delicious breakfast both mornings.Room was lovely and bright,A very good size with comfy beds.Would definitely return and would recommend to others.

I stayed for three nights the staff and food was amazing I wanted a little break away from my busy lifestyle and this was the place to be. i will be back with my partner and dog again thank you Keep up the good work guys

What gem of a place , for a solo traveller looking for an overnight stay this was brilliant. Lovely room , great break fast and a s great price .

Great location

We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.

I visited Willance House with my partner a few years ago, and said we'd definitely go back if we needed to stay in the area again. As before, Colin and Sandra go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. They are a fountain of knowledge of the local area and it is such a special place to stay. I used to stay at this Hotel on a regular (often fortnightly) basis a few years ago as it offered well above average accommodation. I liked its location, which gave a balanced mix of easy access with rural unspoilt views, which is a rare treat for anybody who spends weeks driving up and down the Motorway networks. But what I especially liked was the staff, as they are the entire backbone of this hotel and a credit to its Management, I can't say that i've ever had one negative experience, either...
