Newport Beach Hotel & Suites

Newport Beach Hotel & Suites

8/10 Good
"The location was good, walking distance to the Cliff Walk and the ocean was across the street. The center of Newport was an easy 10 minute drive. We didn't eat breakfast there but there was a typical hotel breakfast buffet in the morning. Bikes, beach chairs and towels were easy to borrow. We were in the suite building so there wasn't much of a view but we rented it for proximity to beach and Newport. The upstairs hot tub fire pit and sauna area were small but made for an enjoyable space. The room itself was spacious with a good layout, beds were comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor and unfortunately the guests above us had children that were allowed to jump and run, up to 11PM and starting around 6AM. We could also hear the TV. The staff at the front desk offered noise machines, ear plugs and went to their room to ask them to be considerate of the noise but it didn't help for long. I have children, now teenagers, so I understand how hard to can be to keep them quiet. But some hotels have quieter floors. If you are concerned about noise between floors, try to rent a top floor room. Overall a good experience."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a space that is clean, cozy, and on the quieter side. My partner and I stayed here and enjoyed the overall welcoming atmosphere of all the staff. We were also happy with the location as it’s very close to Newport, and were thrilled that there was a free shuttle/bicycles to use to travel into town. The onsite pool, gym, and laundry room were an additional perk we were happy to have!"
