"The pub was situated on the edge of Dartmoor in a lovely village, the pub was old and quirky amd the staff were lovely. The room was comfortable and the food was lovely. I would definitely recommend it. "

"This was a very relaxing stay in a genuinely picturesque setting. Despite being a pub, it was quiet and I was never disturbed by noise. Only downside was I had difficulty getting WiFi in my room but was able to get it in the main section of the pub. Thank you for the caring hospitality."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
