"This hotel is centrally located and nearest the Bahnhof which is one reason.we chose it. A beautiful property with all rooms having a balcony. We were in the front facing Bahnhofstrasse and above the adjacent restaurant entrance. If you want a quieter area, request a room with balcony facing the side street. This did not bother us as the area quieted down around 2200. The location besides being nearest the trai station also affords you access to Hohweg which is the street that connects Interlaken Ost to West - an easy and elegant walk of no more than 30 minutes."

"An old hotel but kept clean. Small room but good enough for a couple who just want to enjoy what Interlaken got to offer. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Everything you need is closeby and walkable; transportations, restaurants, shopping, parks, whatever you think you might need. Overall, I enjoyed my stay."

"I saw some negative reviews about this place and I have to say I didn't experience any of them really. The staff was welcoming (not overly friendly but certainly not rude), the location is unbeatable, the breakfast buffet was one of the more robust spreads i've seen in a hotel outside the US, and the hotel was spotless. Our room was larger than we expected and very well appointed. I only have two low-lights: 1) There was no AC which meant the rooms can get hot. Most of the year this is no problem but during our stay it wasn't very comfortable. 2) Due to the lack of AC we opened the windows which let in plenty of cool night air. Unfortunately there is a family of cows across the street with bells on that were active all night (cute problem I know). We named the main cow Meribell and although she was awesome, her bells made it hard to sleep without earplugs. Overall i'd definitely stay here again, despite the lack of sleep."

"The breakfast was great, but I was disappointed that the gym was closed. The hotel is very cozy and clean. The view from the room was stunning. It's a 3-4 minute walk to the train station Ost, very convenient."

"Nice staff, Clean room but very basic. The family apartment is in a total different building with no elevator not connected to the hotel, you have to walk in the alley to get there. Breakfast is average to below average. Food is not labeled. "
