"Lovely hotel set on South Sands beach. Room nice - we had one looking out over road and car park - seaview ones more expensive. Walls are thin and you hear the plumbing system in morning when others are using their bathrooms. Breakfast is a delight, overlooking the sea and choice is excellent. You can take the boat from the beach to Salcombe town fir under a fiver. We did it one-way and walked back. Lovely coastal walk just over a mile so not too far. Road access to the hotel is quite challenging as they are very narrow and steep."

"The cottage was beautifully designed and furnished. In a beautiful location, we had the sea and rolling hills of the countryside right on our doorstep. Listening to the Tawny owls at night was amazing and the whole garden lit up by the moon. The village pub was very accommodating too serving great food. We unfortunately all fell victim to the flu so could not explore the area as much as had hoped, so we are definitely planning to return to this stunning part of the world. "

"We’ve just returned from a lovely week in Hope cove .. Harmur was the perfect spot for us … the most amazing views from the balcony I shall miss those with my morning coffee … All well equipped and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable! Would definitely book again"

"Beautiful property, in a stunning location. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every utensil you could possibly require. Clean rooms and all bedrooms of a reasonable size. The host provided extensive details of local walks, beaches and places to eat - our favourite being the Hope and Anchor, in the stunning Hope Cove. A lovely week with friends and family. "

"We have a great week at the property. House is very close to other properties so not much privacy and a lot of people walking pass the lane. It definitely needs a bit of TLC, bathroom shower pressure is not great but super comfy beds and everything you might need in the kitchen. Shame the outdoor shower didn’t work. Location is 10/10, right next to the village. Great surprise of welcome basket with local treats and a few bits and bobs for cleaning. "
