Their trip was broken into three parts - I booked the Knot for their initial stay and at the end of their Japan tour. On the initial stay - they had rave reviews. The food, stay, etc. exceeded their expectations. However, the bathroom in the room has a step and this was at times challenging for my mom who has mobility issues. Other than that, they loved their stay. The issue was their last leg of the trip. When they returned to the hotel they had a new room. My mom described this room as a makeshift closet - dusty, dirty, small and noisy. It is interesting because I paid a greater amount for this night as it landed on a weekend but it made their overall experience terrible and they left feeling they would never go back again. It is really unfortunate because I think it depends on what room you get and clearly that’s a Wild card.
