I was only at the hotel overnight. It is in need of a little updating but it was overall a nice experience. If you are driving there is actually plenty of parking on the street, so you may not have to pay for self park.
A very nice hotel located only a few blocks from the famous La Sagrada Familia church. Very comfortable room if somewhat sparely furnished. Front-desk staff could be a bit more welcoming. Restaurant staff very friendly, although menu selections are limited and service rather slow. Excellent Wi-Fi in lobbies and sleeping rooms. Also glad that underground parking is available and easy to use, if rather expensive. I would stay here again, no question!
This was a decent hotel. Right next to Hospital Sant Pau which is a nice building and just 3 blocks away from the subway station. Room service was really good every day changing towels and doing our beds. My only complaint would be that we were refused a second key which is normally standard upon request at every hotel I've stayed at. So when me and my friend split at the city it was a hassle to have to return to the room together and have to wait for each other to finish whatever we were doing. One night I returned to the hotel and had the staff unlock the room for me since my friend was out and had the key. I was in there with no electricity as the room key has a second small key which "unlocks" electric power to the room. Without it the lights and power outlets don't work. Also our bathroom door wouldn't close which I suppose doesn't really matter. Overall it's good to sleep and freshen up, just keep in mind you only get one key lol
Well designed, well run, friendly staff, helpful staff. You could not want more from a hotel.
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. And if I have to return I would make this hotel my 1st choice.
The hotel is away from the centre (Consett is the nearest metro station) therefore you can really relax and enjoy the 'true' Barcelona after a day doing the sights.
Pleasant hotel near the Sagrada Familia (10 mins walk or so, downhill going, up hill returning) and around a 15/20 min walk to the Park Guell. I used the Metro to get down to the waterfront area and it was easy and cheap to do so. Clean hotel, decent breakfast (breads, cereals, cheese, meats pastries etc.) Free Wifi all over.

Voted Very clean hotel by Venere users, the Medium Aristol hotel is a wonderful three star hotel in Barcelona – Spain. …More
We arrived very late and the check-in person was very sympathetic and friendly. The apartments are large, with a nice fridge and various closets. However, my window faced the street and there was a small portion which the curtains did not cover, so the sun shone onto my face. This was annoying. Everything else was great though- kitchen, staff, bathroom, rooms.

Easy location with metro out the front, plenty of cafés and restaurants as you step out the hotel. Staff helpful with excellent English and they booked tours for us. Room quite large, clean. Would stay here again.
Everything was excellent, in a beautiful quiet setting surrounding by gardens. It is very clean and close to metro green line and blue line. It is about 20min to main barcelona downtown attractions, but close to others like Tibidabo and Parc Guells.
Two of the city’s largest parks, Parc de les Aigües and Parc del Guinardó, can be found in the hilly, semi-rural Horta-Guinardó district. You can see them both from the towers of La Sagrada Familia church, Barcelona’s most emblematic and fascinating building, created by Antoni Gaudí, (actually in the bordering suburb of Eixample). Neighbouring Gràcia is a good place for typical Barcelona eating, drinking and shopping.
