My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. From the moment that we checked in, to the time we checked out, the staff couldnt do enough for you. They assisted with any queries regarding travel, etc. Sergei and his girlfriend are lovely. Sergei told us about the history of Spain and told us all about the Catalan flags which we could see around the town. The room was large with all toiletries supplied and refreshed daily. The bed was made each day and used towels replaced. There is also a bar fridge which contained a pack of crisps, a chocolate, bottles of water and cans of soda - complimentary service.
Upon arrival the hotel is fresh, modern and clean. The location of the hotel is great, just a short 10 min walk from top of the ramblas. My partner and I stayed in a junior suite on the first floor and it was a lovely room. The room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size too. However a few touches up are needed around the room and can be a bit dark. The only downside to our stay was out room was next to a stairway in the hotel and in the mornings especially, you could hear everyone going up and down the staircase. I would highly recommend staying in a room on a higher floor and require this when booking. Apart from that I would return again.
Very welcoming when we arrived, even offering a glass of sparkling wine. Staff very friendly and helpful in booking trips and restaurants for dinner. Excellent location with designer shops nearby but also plenty of places for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Room comfortable and very quiet as it over looked the garden area. Would definitely stay again given the chance.
Well located but not in particularly touristy area. Terrific tapas , breakfast and sandwich bars (with sidewalk tables) on the same street as the hotel and great metro access. The hotel staff is knowledgable and extremely helpful, courteous and patient. We'll stay here whenever we're in Barcelona.
We stayed for 2 nights at Vincci Gala. The hotel is perfectly located as it sits in the middle of all major Barcelona attractions. It is everything you would expect from a 4* hotel, breakfast including.
The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. It is also home to Gaudí’s two fairy-tale masterpieces, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, plus many other architectural gems. The undoubted star of the Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s fabulous unfinished emblematic church.
