Good hotel with character. Breakfast buffet appetising and plenty of choice. Staff all helpful. Room clean with big bathroom. Only thing that can be criticised is that the cups for tea/coffee making were cardboard!! Otherwise everything perfect.
The rooftop Sky Bar was so much fun and has a gorgeous view of Barcelona. I think the bar is the star attraction of the hotel.
I stayed at the now-defunct Axel in Buenos Aires in 2009 and the rooms there had the style and luxuriousness of what the splashy Axel website advertises. The Axel in Barcelona is a far cry from that. If I were to do it over again, I would do myself the favor of upgrading to a higher class of room. The lower-end room was very small, the bed was rather uncomfortable (although it was big... but no headboard...), and the bathroom was cramped and a little unkempt (I saw rust and mold but didn't complain as I was only there for one night only). I did not use the pool or hammam facilities, so I can't speak to that. One note is that if you are given the option of an inside or outside room, be aware that the outside room will have the street view (maybe more appealing but there is some noise) but the inside room will have the courtyard view (less appealing but very quiet).
The location is fantastic in the heart of the Eixample district with lots of nightlife and restaurant options, plus walking distance to most of Barcelona's main attractions (or a short ride on the very easy-to-navigate subway).
We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Hotel EuroPark. The breakfasts were the best we have had for a contimental style breakfast. The staff as friendly and knowledgeable, and the room was quiet, clean, and modern. Location was within blocks of many popular attractions and taxis were plentiful and reasonably priced. We will return again.
Lovely and spacious room with a minimalist touch. Fantastic location for a short week end in Barcelona. Staff very attentive and friendly. I will definitely choose again this hotel next time I am back to Barcelona.

The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. It is also home to Gaudí’s two fairy-tale masterpieces, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, plus many other architectural gems. The undoubted star of the Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s fabulous unfinished emblematic church.
