Clean apartment with good facilities, ideal location and lively area. Lots of great local businesses around. Would've been useful of there was a comprehensive list of what was provided and what wasn't.
Was a good hotel with good breakfast, not too far from the metro station and a few stops from the centre of Barcelona. Not much to see in the area but close to Park Guell. What I didn't like was that TV was old fashioned and difficult to operate. Some receptionists did not bother to look at you or to greet you.
The apartment is very modern and is in a very nice neighborhood not too far from the old town and is about 10 minute walk to a subway station. The apartment comes with fully equipped kitchen and even with washer/dryer and dishwasher which were a big plus for us since we were traveling for two weeks in Europe. We would strongly recommend this hotel for family with kids.
Whilst overall the room was nice and location pretty central fir sightseeing etc, customer service is not their strong point. When I complained the cleaners had thrown out my contact lens case to a member of staff I was told 'i didn't sound convinced!' I had to walk a good mile to the only late night pharmacy to try and purchase a new case! Apologies or assistance didn't cross their mind!
I tried to ask for assistance contacting a taxi company which did airport transfers but again I was told 'we don't do that' and directed to look up a website although I had no internet access.
Ok if you want a cheap stay. But this is a hostel not a hotel (we booked a 'hotel room' ) and the staff attitudes reflect that.
Room was quite spacious for a family of 4. Surrounding area appeared safe. Street in front of the Hotel is lined with small restaurants. A launderette is available a few doors away.
The Hotel has a Hot and Cold vending machine located on the first floor.
Formerly a separate town, much of Gràcia retains a village-like, bohemian atmosphere with interesting shops and bars and some of the best restaurants in the city. It is best known for Parc Güell, designed by Gaudí. This beautiful landscaped park overlooks the city and features many of his trademark flourishes. The square of Plaça Rius i Taulet is the heart of Gràcia. Plaça del Sol is the place to be seen after dark.
