"Delightful stay at the George. A real olde worlde hotel with lots of character. Staff really welcoming. Rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Decoration a bit old but in line with the type of hotel, so no issues. Lovely breakfast and really enjoyed the evening meal. No hesitation in recommending. "

"We stayed at the Bear Inn on 14th March 2026 for 2 nights. It is a very welcoming place. The atmosphere is very comforting and relaxed with helpul and friendly staff always willing to chat. In particular Hilary and Bayleigh were lovely and made our wedding anniversary special."

"Breakfast paid for as part of my Hotels.com booking staying at Holiday Inn Bristol but Holiday Inn claimed that breakfast was not included as far as they were concerned so refused this on the morning of checking out. This was a business trip so didn't have time to argue on the day as we needed to get on on and out. Phoned Hotels.com later to query and they claimed it was an admin issue within Holiday Inn. All in all, annoying and frustrating and no apologies. "

"Only a one night stay before flying out of Bristol Airport. Very welcoming, excellent evening meal, very comfortable room. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast but I’m sure that would have been good too! Very convenient for the airport."
