"Clean and tidy budget hotel with smashing staff and all the basics for a decent, low cost overnight only a 5 minute walk from Manchester Airport Terminal 2 - Leave Arrivals level, walk towards the pick up/drop off and follow the green marked path. Basic food but you can book a table in the restaurant at the Holliday Inn next door and receive a 10% discount."

I was welcomed by a really lovely lady last time, Anna. Nothing was too much trouble, happy, kind, helpful. Thank you Anna, I really appreciate you. Always the same feeling here, that is really good to have when you’re a solo traveller. Also with regard to the amazing staff, the man that greets you outside is also kind, helpful, happy, just lovely. He helps me with all my luggage every single time without fail. "The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the best of Buxton. It is beautifully decorated, with a real sense of luxury. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Staff were helpful and polite. My only disappointment was the breakfast service and in all truth this was completely unacceptable. It was apparent that the kitchen and service was heavily understaffed, which impacted upon the cleanliness, insufficient stocks on the buffet service and delays serving food. Most people had a 45min delay for hot breakfast, and this resulted in us and a number of other guests requesting refunds. The serving staff were very apologetic and just looked worn out and embarrassed."
