Very disappointing night due to a wedding party There was what appeared to be a wedding party at the hotel during my stay, with a DJ playing very loud, heavy music until around midnight. I understand that weddings are occasions for celebration, and I have no issue with the hotel hosting them. However, the volume was excessive and made it extremely difficult for other guests to sleep. I tried calling reception several times to ask for assistance, but unfortunately nobody answered. At one point, the noise was so bad that I seriously considered leaving my room and finding somewhere else to stay. The people attending the party should also remember that this is a hotel with other paying guests who may need to sleep. The hotel should have better arrangements to contain the noise and ensure that guests staying elsewhere are not severely disturbed. Advice to other travellers: If you are looking for a quiet night's sleep, I would recommend checking with the hotel beforehand to see whether any wedding or DJ events are taking place during your stay, and requesting a room as far away from the function area as possible. The biggest disappointment for me was not simply the wedding party, but the lack of response from reception when I repeatedly tried to get help.
