"Stayed for 9 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is simple, but good value-for-money. The restaurant is good. Also, I love the location. Changing my room at the beginning of my stay became something of a mission, when it didn't need to be. The daily cleaning was inconsistent in its thoroughness and attention to detail. Overall, I feel communication about the hotel, its facilities and amenities could be better, which would allow guests to enjoy it more fully. Too much needs to be discovered, rather than being informed in advance. For example, how does the on-site Starbucks work when it is unstaffed? How do you access the gym? Where are the walks/running routes? So, the staff can be helpful when asked, but they meet people's needs rather than anticipate them."

"There seemed to be lots of rubbish outside the hotel every morning, breakfast was very poor bacon over cook obviously been put in hot plate too early, only dried up scrambled eggs no alternative, hash browns cook too early uneatable, few simple things that could be easily sorted not everyone is eating at 6.30 by nine its spoiled , car park cost makes hotel more expensive, will be heading back to premier Inn, with free parking and charging points, charger at harvesters really over priced,"

"The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean, the only issue was there wasn't a fan in the room and it was very hot. Didn't have a chance to try the swimming pool as we were only there 1 night."

"First time we have stayed in this hotel after a long boat trip from Belfast. A lovely Hotel set in Amazing grounds. The hotel is well maintained and the choice of evening meals were great also. There was a Prom Party going on when we arrived at the hotel and was noisy, but when you ventured into the restaurant there was no noise at all. The bed was too soft for myself but my wife loved it. The only area of concern is the breakfast meal. There needs to be a bit more care and attention to detail on this. It was self service but when we got there, there was not a lot of food left at the time. The staff need to check this on a regular basis and top up where necessary. If you wanted toast then you had to ask for some when you are at the table and whilst waiting for the toast my wife's bacon and eggs were getting colder even on a hot plate. Other than that i would thoroughly recommend this hotel and I will be going back to it in the near future as it is a great halfway stop back down to London the next day."
