"Spent a lovely week at Ashlea Country Cottage, Ann, the owner was so nice and helpful, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This is a lovely cosy cottage set in beautiful peaceful surroundings. We even got real thick snow which was an added bonus, great to watch surrounding wildlife and had visits from sheep. "The Larches proved to be the ideal place for us to hold a family celebration. Eight of us had ample space to spread out with room for more. The large modern kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group and proved to be the hub of the house to enjoy meals together. There are many good walks in the area right from the doorstep and Kirkby Stephen is easily accessible. Some window latches in the bedrooms need replacing .We would certainly consider returning and recommend to others."
