"Spent a lovely week at Ashlea Country Cottage, Ann, the owner was so nice and helpful, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This is a lovely cosy cottage set in beautiful peaceful surroundings. We even got real thick snow which was an added bonus, great to watch surrounding wildlife and had visits from sheep. "It's a beautiful area with stunning scenery just a short drive away. The house itself has so much character with a lovely large kitchen/dining area and big lounge. The garden is beautiful too - quiet and enclosed. We loved that you could walk to Kirkby Stephen over Frank's Bridge, which we did quite often. All in all, we had a lovely weekend."
