It would have been helpful we’d been advised that there was an engagement party & live band playing that night as we were staying as we were running the Delamere Forest Marathon the next morning and hoping for an early night as we had an early start. "This is a terrible place for a person expecting a good nights sleep in a clean environment. I ended up staying in what felt a converted shed. It was cold and damp. "The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house.
