This hotel was second to none ,we arrived early from strasbourg, the lady who owned hotel gave us a room right away and a map and told us where we could park in Freiburg for shopping ,when we came back later she gave us directions into mountain and forest which is amazing ,the hotel was lovely ,the room very cosy and homely,very quiet ,breakfast plentiful, the girl asked us if we would like scrambled or boiled egg, the lady owner spoke great English ,which was a great help as we were Scottish...

Great spot in valley above Schluchsee. Modern clean rooms. Breakfast was tasty for a continental spread. Dinner options were excellebt. Staff great, informative and kind. Would return!

First time staying at a traditional German Guesthouse. For a property of it's age, and the small number of staff, the property was immaculate and very well equippped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge, comfortable and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There were lounge areas full of curiosities for you to relax.
