Absolutely fabulous hotel and perfect location to enjoy the wonderful scenery - mountain hikes and swimming and activities on the lake. Duty manager so welcoming, helpful and friendly, advising us on walks on our arrival. Friendly restaurant staff and a great buffet breakfast to start the day with a much appreciated vegan selection. Lovely bakery on-site and covered walkway to the cable car opposite the hotel. Lovely spa area to relax after hiking, or to watch the rain from. Comfortable bed, fresh spring water, large balconies. No apparent air con, but nice just to have the window tilted open. Well served by buses

Notre chambre exécutive fut rénovée au goût du jour avec le cachet suisse patrimonial. L’ascenseur gagnerait à être rénové ou agrandi car minuscule. Somme toute, c’est sans aucun doute le meilleur hôtel de la région!

The Mandarin Savoy Hotel is exceptional. Perfectly located on the Bahnhofstrasse, opposite the famous Paradeplatz. The interior is well designed and the rooms are elegant and luxurious. I have stayed in many of the five-star hotels in Zurich over the years. This undoubtedly is the best.

I was given a room on the top floor. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. As someone who works from their hotel room the desk arrangement isn’t ideally suited to that but I made it work. The restaurant was fabulous food and drinks and clearly was a destination spot for locals which meant there was a really buzzy atmosphere. There was also a wet bag in the room for those who swim in the river but I used it for my gym gear. Tea and coffee facilities are outside the room on the landing which was a bit quirky but nonetheless was a great facility. The staff throughout were excellent and the whole atmosphere was of a place where people enjoyed working. I was visiting Barfüsserplatz for work so the hotel is not right in the centre but a 10 min walk up/down an incline past all the lovely shops. A big supermarket just nearby. Really enjoyable stay and no doubt will go back.
