"Thought breakfast could have been better, no fried eggs had to ask, no pancakes, had to ask. Staff were quite rude, when I asked for cutlery she snapped back that I could get my own! Restaurant menu showed a lovely looking soag bol, when I asked, was told it was only a kids meal and they would not allow me to order it. Was told I could get it in room service! That's what I ended up doing but if they can do it on room service, I can't see why they good not do it in the restaurant. Some staff were quite rude , however reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not worth the cost. Don't think I would stay here again."

"We liked this place, didn't love it. There was no way to regulate the room temperature. We also noticed that the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. The walls need some sound-proofing. It was priced right. The neighborhood was great. It was a quick walk to the tour buses and British Museum. The breakfast was pretty good for the price. The street noise was very loud. All in all, it was a good place for the price we paid."

"A reasonable hotel that is reasonable value for money in the middle of London. Don’t expect anything impressive it’s basic but does the job."

"The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year."

"Loved the vibe of the hotel, staff was very nice and helpful.Great hotel, great location Room set ups were neat and made the space feel bigger! Breakfast was wonderful! Wide variety of options and very nice dining space. Gym was set up a little oddly and Peloton was not activated but overall a great stay! Would definitely stay again "

"The best hotel is London for us, have stayed many times and this time with our family ready to watch the London Marathon. It is perfectly situated on the Thames. The food is top quality and a decent price! Looking forward to our next stay! I would say the only thing missing is an indoor pool."
