"We had a lovely short stay at the Sunrise. The hosts contacted us prior to arrival to forewarn us of the road closures for the Bude Carnival and allowing us flexibility with check in (should we have required it) because of the event. When arriving we were met with a warm and friendly welcome. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfasts both mornings were excellent. The B&B is decorated to a high standard and has a lovely cosy welcoming feel. Would recommend and will stay there again on future visits."

"Fab place, no cars and feels really special with gorgeous grounds and lots of space. The pod was clean, bed and bedsheets clean and crisp. Enough pots, plates, cutlery etc to manage and spacious. Toilet/shower was clean with good water pressure. We had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend. 2 adults and 2 tweens, they slept on fishermen padded camp beds."

"We had a very nice stay. The house is in a good quiet location, close to shops, restaurants, the canal and beach. It’s a little tired but is spacious warm and comfortable and easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 vehicles. Check in was easy. The friendly note with information on the house and locale was helpful. The wi-fi worked well. If you want to use the washing machine and/or dishwasher you need to take your own detergent. A grab rail in the bath would be helpful for those of an older age."

"We just returned from a wonderful short break at Riverside, and it was absolutely excellent! The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The added bonus of a swimming pool/jacuzzi, snooker table, and darts provided endless entertainment for the whole family.The location is perfect for exploring Bude.We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Riverside to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cornwall. Can’t wait to return!"

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss in the village so best to download / write down the entry instructions prior to arrival. Lots of fun activities in and around Bude - we did surfing, sea pool, cinema and an escape room - so action packed."
