"Loved our visit to The Gore! We arrived late to the hotel due to delays with our flight and had to quickly change and head out for a meeting upon our arrival. The front desk was welcoming, accommodating, and efficient during the check-in process. The staff and hospitality was truly 5-star and the morning breakfast is an absolute must! "Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

The staff @ the restaurant were polite & efficient, however the food wasn't very good (cold and poor selection). There are several restaurants within a short walk that served delicious more affordable breakfast and dinners. Overall however I would recommend this hotel. "
