"We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. "Property was perfect for our small family for a short getaway. Well stocked with kitchenware and a very nice welcoming bottle of wine from the property owner. Really cute animal pictures and decor. Pretty garden in the backyard. Loved the village as well, and especially the children's park a short walk from the property. Diddly Squat Farm Shop was a lovely 35 min walk through the countryside. Property manager was responsive and very helpful with any questions."

"This place was very charming and in an excellent location. very charming, clean, etc. The only things to watch out for are: The stair are small and steep. It was fine for us, but an older person of someone without great balance may not want to stay there. Because of the location (in a charming old village) it was hard to find when we arrived. It was fine, but you you need to arrive after dark make arrangements to have the host meet you."

"We had a great stay at Forsythia Cottage in Bourton. The well appointed cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of a car space for our hire car and only a very short walk to the centre of town. In fact we didn’t use the car for the entirety of our stay. The renovated cottage provided all the comforts required whilst still enjoying the authentic experience of a 300 year old home. The courtyard garden was a bonus which we would no doubt have made better...

"We really liked the cottage, it was perfect for us as two friends together. We really appreciated the little extras that were left. It was very quiet although central to Lechlade. Parking was in the street but we found somewhere each day for two cars. Highly recommend this cottage"

"The cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds. Unfortunately there was a very annoying ongoing issue with the hot water. We arrived to find a note from a plumber that explained a process we needed to follow in order to get hot water but it didn’t always work and we needed to reset the boiler numerous times. I did complain to the owner as I thought we should have been informed of this in advance. She disagreed with...

"So much love for this rustic cottage! Caroline has created a little piece of heaven. It was the perfect location and the hot tub was an incredible extra that made a very hectic few days relaxing. Its comfortable and has everything you need. We were blessed with wonderful weather so did alot of exploring locally and not as locally~ Bath, Stonehenge, Rollright, Stow-on-Wold, Bibury. It IS rustic (read- spiders mostly up high) that took some of the arachnophobic members of the family nervous, but...

"Lovely property, just the right size. Perfect location for strolling into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Plush bath & hand towels, well equipped kitchen. Could have provided small body wash lotions, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom for guest use, but that’s a more minor point. A couple of plates & mugs were already chipped prior to our arrival, so that should be looked after better, prior to guest arrival. Didn’t communicate with the property manager, so gave a 1 star rating there"

"Roy was the manager on duty when we checked in and out. He helped carry one of our suitcases to our suite! He was awesome and helped out with some local areas to dine and visit. The suite was excellent, slippers and a robe waited our arrival, along with coffee, hot chocolate, tea and milk. Was very clean and a comfortable kind size bed. We loved it."

"Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "
