Temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 10°C to 15°C, making it superb for exploring the Gufunes Recreation Area, which offers walking and cycling paths along the coastline. This period also provides the great experience of the midnight sun, with nearly 24 hours of daylight, allowing for extended outdoor adventures. For travellers hoping to witness the Northern Lights and experience a winter wonderland, the period from October to March is best. While temperatures are colder, often hovering around freezing, the longer nights significantly increase your chances of seeing the aurora borealis, especially away from city lights in areas like the Gufunes nature reserve.
