"On arriving I was the outside appearance was a bit of a shock and I doubted wether as a single female traveller to stay there was some rooms where the curtains in the windows was torn down , broken chair outside , some of the other guests was outside let's just say was enjoying a few pints etc but I gave it a benefit of the doubt and went and checked in so I could see what the room was like before making a disision wether to not stay. Arriving at check out the duty manager checked me in and gave me an upstairs room , not the one which was requested but was sorted at another time. Rooms are ok , bedding and towels clean Can say about the shower power etc as I couldn't climb in the bath to have one and another guests comment at breakfast of "don't worry there are cameras every where " made me feel a little uncomfortable easy. Breakfast if included is continental style went to do some toast and all the bread was mouldy , took some pictures and showed the member of staff on the desk who asked how did I know its mouldy etc mm come and check for yourself , I will give him credit he did go to the local garage and get a fresh loaf , Tip though if you have any other milk ie semi skimmed , oat, almond etc take your own as they only provide whole milk ( blue label) although they wouldn't of known my dietary requirements it may be nice to cater for other requirements., so black tea and a minute amount of milk on cereals due to health reasons ."

"The building, the decor, the grounds, all completely spectacular. A fabulous place for anyone who loves gardens/plants/greenery. The staff literally couldn't be nicer, more helpful if they tried, they are all wonderful. Brooke was a regular superstar during our four days, and even the night duty staff Buzz was super amazing too. Honestly it's one of the nicest places I've ever visited and I really want to return again. Thank you to the Nunsmere staff"

"This is a fantastic location, conveniently situated close to the motorway network while still offering a peaceful rural setting. The hot tub and swimming pool were excellent additions and really enhanced the stay. The amenities are modern overall; however, the TV and WiFi were disappointing. The WiFi connection was very unreliable and barely usable at times, and the TV did not support streaming services, which was a drawback."

"Great pub, lovely staff, lovely food, amazing clean and comfy room with 4 poster bed. Only slight criticism is food portion size, the full English equivalent was one slice of bacon, one small sausage, one hash brown etc…and dinner was much the same - which was a shame as it tasted so lovely. "
