The rooms are immaculate- clean, charming decor, lovely breakfast options in the morning, and you may be greeted on the property by his gorgeous and friendly yellow lab! He made us feel right at home, the Café is still under renovation but we hope he is able to open soon and wish him all the success. We will be returning to stay again. "

"My two sisters and I loved everything about the place especially the kitchen and the temperature control via AC or heat. The only concern about the place is that it took 1-3 tries each time we had to unlock the front door by code. There was supposed to be music to help but couldn't really hear anything. May need some attention but have to admit we never alerted anyone at the time thinking it was related to our ineptitude! I tried to do this review on the Vacasa site but the page never came up...

"After having a terrible stay the last time I was in Portland at another hotel, I was very pleased with this stay. They used to have a restaurant a the Clarion but that is gone, so I had to drive someplace to get dinner. However, this is to much better than the last place I stayed that was new and highly rated but had bedbugs! Don't stay at the Casco Bay Inn, stay at the Clarion instead."
