Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful time staying here. Rooms lovely and clean, with an outstanding breakfast every morning. Highlight (sorry humans!) was the 3 dogs who were so friendly and loved getting attention. You are around 20/30 minute walk from the promenade or an easy car ride away.

I had a beautiful stay at The Chadwick. I loved the beautiful breakfasts that were prepared each morning with so much love, creativity, and thoughtfulness. Everything was delicious. My husband and I felt very much at home in The Chadwick House. Erin is a charming and attentive hostess. We enjoyed visiting with their daughter and dogs, too. My husband and I stayed at the Chadwick B&B for a weekend away. Erin, Zach and their daughter Lily are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts that they prepared were delicious. The location of the Inn is very convenient to walking down town Portland. Our room was cozy and comfortable with a beautiful new bathroom. The atmosphere that they've created is very homey and friendly. We hope to return.

Walkable West End

Excellent location within the West End, walkable to Old Port, museums, restaurants, etc! We didn't move our car from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was delicious, nutritious, and just the right amount of food. The dogs were a fun bonus, that made the space feel like home (though of course, they weren't in the general guest area - just the kitchen).

Good place to catch a game

The room was very nice. There was access to a lot of movies and tv shows through the smart TV. he food was amazing. We had an incredible breakfast in the morning -- savory crepes with spinach, gruyere, and eggs, and there were lots of snacks. As well as cookies and granola bars, there was water, seltzer, yogurt, babybel cheeses, an assortment of milks, and coffee and tea. There was also a lot of board games for us to use. Locationally, I'm not sure if it was ideal. We were near a hospital, it didn't seem like we were that close to a lot of the restaurants. But, it was an easy walk to the complex where the Portland Seadogs and Maine RedClaws.
