"Room was clean although housekeeping seemed sporadic and needed little reminder notes to replenish coffee and tea. Unfortunately there was a lot of concrete work being done behind the hotel, providing lots of noise to wake up to."

"The lobby was spectacular. Three staff members at the desk ready to check in customers or just ready for any questions/ concerns. They were accommodating from helping us maneuver through the property on the floor zero to get to the nearby station to letting us leaving our luggage at the lobby area on our check our day. Rooms were more than enough for two people. We had a two twin bed and they were put together to make one bed. The desk was a nice perk for the room as there was a mirror that would fold up and down attached to the desk to help get ready to put on makeup or to use if you have to work. Bathroom was spectacular in terms of cleanliness. Sink is a bit small but made it work. The only flaw is the water in the shower may get out because the shower door is completely flushed to the door or shower wall. So be sure to keep a towel on the bathroom floor at the shower entrance so water doesn’t get on there. Other than that it’s a hotel I’ll come to again. AC was available so big plus. The water and milk for coffee being refilled everyday is a big plus too. The bar and restaurant in the lobby area make for good spots to congregate for coworkers, family, friends, or whoever."

"The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed the deep bathtub with a relaxing bath after a cold day of walking around Edinburgh Castle. The staff was especially wonderful, helping us with questions about the heater and tub faucets. I didn't get her name, but I believe she was the manager or someone in charge, very accommodating and friendly and to Katie at the front desk who was very helpful and always pleasant and friendly."

"This hotel is perfectly placed for those wishing toto take advantage of everything on the Royal Mile. It is ugly outside tho with scaffolding al around. No work is being done however. They could use something more to to on soelevators and the breakfast is expensive. I, however, felt safe and totally happy with my room and the location of the hotel."
