Amazing, atmospheric place. Beautifully laid out to keep the feel of a fortified manor. My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though.

Brilliant hotel. No.1 choice when travelling across Germany by road. Hersbruck is also a beautiful town :)

Excellent breakfast, polite and helpful staff. Property right in the centre with direct tube line to airport a 3 min. walk.

Unique and picturesque surroundings

The hotel is located in the quieter area of Nuremberg, away from the bustle of the market and in an area with some very pretty streets. The air conditioning was awesome - kept us going during a very hot spell in Germany. A very sleekly designed bedroom with funky light-up headboard too. Staff were helpful and friendly- happy to store bags before check in while we explored the town. Yummy breakfast - including a definite nod to English/American guests - scrambled egg, crispy bacon and...

Great design hotel, spacious rooms, good bathroom. On site restaurant serving great quality food. A short walk into town. Perfect for our 2 night stay

Excellent apartotel. Our studio was immaculately clean quite high end and well equipped. Kitchen had everything dishwasher washing machine microwave kettle iron ironing board. The location is good quiet but walking distance to main railway station and old town. Recommended.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist. The room was lovely and very clean.

We had a really good time in this hotel. The room was pretty comfortable except that it didn't have A/C or fans and it was quite hot and humid while we were there. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was great. Thank you!
