good hotel in the outskirts. Must have car.

Good hotel. Far from center. Good if u have a car. The entry to the hotel is on the right side of the shopping complex. GPS Can miss it but when at the shopping complex go to the right side. Guy at reception is Nice but reception closes at 8 pm and and open at 10 am. Room ok. Nothing fancy. I would stay again. Worth for the money. Next morning i left at 9.58 am . Reception wasnt open. Dont know if the come sharp at 10 am. Good hotel. Car parking free in front of the hotel. The reception Will give u a paper which needs to be displayed in the car for the cops or whoever who comes to make money out of our parking .

Ein kleines Hotel über einem Einkaufszentrum. Gut von der Autobahn zu erreichen und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Stadt. Das sich im gleichen Gebäude befindliche Bowling-Center war hervorragend! Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß dort und konnte uns vor dem Schlafen nochmal richtig verausgaben. Das Restaurant befindet sich im Bowling-Center. Die Bierauswahl ist nicht nach unserem Geschmack gewesen. Die Burger waren okay, würde ich aber nicht wiederholen. Die Pizza sah besser aus. Die Hotelzimmer werden sehr warm! Im Sommer würde ich das Hotel, auf Grund fehlender Klimaanlage, nicht buchen. Die Betten waren so weich, dass man im Matratzenstudio eine neue Bezeichnung dafür finden müsste. Ich hatte Rückenschmerzen davon, dabei bin ich sonst nicht so empfindlich bei Betten.

Einfaches Hotel in Stadtnähe

Ist zwar nett, dass es direkt am Hotel eine Bowlingbahn gibt, aber leider riecht es auch überall nach den Pommes, die dort angeboten werden. Wir waren insgesamt ziemlich enttäuscht vom Zimmer und wirklich wohl gefühlt haben wir uns nicht! Einziger Vorteil ist das Parkplatzangebot.

Sällan jag har bott på ett sånt skitigt hotel!!! Bara en gång innan och det var på en restresa i Turkiet. Svarta hår i duschen, handfatet, sängen samt handduken. Popcorn under sängen. Toapapper kvar i toaletten. Hade jag tagit en dusch, hade jag känd mig skitigare än innan.

Freundliches Personal und gute Straßen-Anbindung sowie das super Frühstücksbuffet sprechen für das Hotel, das leider etwas außerhalb liegt (30min Fußweg in die Altstadt). Alles in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes: Guter Durchschnitt.

Übernachtung im Vintage Look

Das Hotel samt Einrichtung ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die öffentlichen Bereiche (Lobby, Bar, Frühstücksraum) stammen aus den goldenen 80ziger Jahren. Der Zimmerpreis und das Gebotene passen aber zusammen. Bamberg schwimmt in einem Tourismusboom, daher hält sich das Hotel. In einer Stadt mit mehr Übernachtungsangeboten hätte dieses Haus vermutlich keine Chance mehr. Personal war freundlich, Frühstück gut, aber das Zimmer war in allen Ecken recht schmuddelig. (Spinnen im Bad, Staub auf dem Schreibtisch etc.)

Near Old Town Bamberg

The hotel was in a business district. It looked suspicious at first, but had its own entrance. The lobby was nice as was the room. There is a bus that takes you to old town Bamberg across the street. Breakfast was Great!!!

Bamberg Bust

This hotel has a lot of problems. It is 1-2 miles from Stadt Mitte and if you don’t have a car that is a problem. Then there are little or no nearby restaurants, so we were stuck eating 2 nights at the adjoining bowling alley! Our room had no air conditioning, no coffee or bathroom amenities. We found the staff to be unfriendly / unhelpful as we had to ask for a town map, they offered no assistance, they avoided eye contact when we passed by. The shower didn’t even have a shelf or ledge for soap or shampoo .. and this hotel was NOT inexpensive!!! Avoid this hotel!

geräumiges Zimmer oberhalb Einkaufzentrums/Bowling

Oberhalb eines Einkaufzentrums und Bowlinghalle haben wir ein geräumiges Zimmer vorgefunden. Lärm von Bowlinghalle war dort kaum noch zu hören. Fraglich, ob das ein Stockwerk unterhalb (zimmer mit Nummer 1xx) auch so ist, wage ich zu bezweifeln.

worst experience

No staff in reception after 5:30 pm. We arrived at 9 pm, doors were closed, elevator was not working (room on the 4th floor), we booked double room, got single room. We were refused a refund, staff told us that because we booked through Orbitz, they should take care about refund. Carpet was dirty, hairs in the bathroom. That so-called hotel is in the same building with a bowling and a grocery store. Does not deserve 3 star rating by no means.

Hotel an Hauptverkehrsstraße - trotzdem ruhig

Ein etwas älteres Hotel, indem man durch die angelegene Bowlingbahn (die jeder ohne Probleme betreten kann) an die Rezeption vorbei ins Hotel gelangt. Fande ich persönlich nicht ganz so toll, Zimmer sind sehr dunkel gehalten und mit Teppichboden ausgestattet. An keinen Allergiker zu empfehlen.
