Comms with owner none existent other then a couple of automated messages once I had paid. Not enough towels within the property for all guests no hot water for washing up asked for assistance from owner message never acknowledged. "Just what we needed for a short stay visiting family in Newcastle under Lyme. So kind of the owner to provide fresh milk and tea and coffee and biscuits plus toiletries in the bathroom. Comfy beds, cosy living room and well equipped kitchen. Only lack was no freezer so couldn’t re-freeze our cool box blocks but to be fair listing does say this. "We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink."
