"Katherine was very accommodating as I needed an early check in due to attending a wedding the nearby registry office. Also helped me with free parking at the back of the property. Lovely clean modern single room at the top of the building. Would recommend. "

"What can you say about parsons b&b only one word fantastic. David and his wife are the perfect hosts and nothing wasn’t any trouble. Every morning he would leave us a tray of tea and coffee with a jug of milk and no plastic small pots of milk in site. Rooms are beautiful decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and all locally sourced and was superb, the parsons b&b is right in the heart of Hartington so you can park your car and have no need to drive it till you...

"Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub. Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again."

"Blossom House is in the heart of Tideswell Village, and provided for a really enjoyable stay. While it is next door to the Horse and Jockey Pub, i suggest you venture to the Star public house for food and drink. The H&J is a bit naff."

"Lovely stay but made amazing by the Chefs. If you have the opportunity to visit be sure to have one of their specialty burgers - Salt & Pepper Chicken Burger or the Lamb Feta Burger. Both amazing and on my top 10 of best evers. "

"Everything was fine about the Braemar set in a quiet residential street lovely hosts only a ten minute walk into Buxton town centre couldn’t fault it enjoyed our stay "

"Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "Mould in bathroom also ion communal kitchen & possibly on render on outside wall No spoon or cups. The person in next room was using the landing as a shoe storage area. The person did not want to know about the mould & wanted me to cancel staying on a bank holiday weekend. With health issues I would have preferred to not to stay at all. The property could do with some maintenance."
