Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed.
Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds.

We loved our stay in the Abbey Hotel and apartments, the staff, breakfast & attention to detail were amazing. Very easy walk into the town centre with its unique shops, pubs & restaurants, also not forgetting the Cathedral & Abbey Gardens.
Bury St Edmunds is a must to visit.

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while.
The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee.
The shower was lovely and hot.
I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough.
Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere.
I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar.

A pleasant, comfortable and clean place to stay, but would have liked to see more healthy options, (e.g. salads) on the dinner menu. Gym modern and good size for a hotel.

I believe it had just reopened after being closed for a whilst for refurbishment. Having not seen the before i cannot comment on the works undertaken. However the place i visited was super, friendly staff (dont think they had been refurbished), great room and very comfy. The rooms are in the adjoining property, so isolated for the jovial atmosphere in the restaurant. And it was jovial and busy (on a Wednesday evening) and again the staff were brill. The food was some of the best ive had in...

I've stayed here once or twice a year for many years now for the simple I like it. The odd niggle maybe but who's perfect? Never a serious complaint. Staff always helpful. Food always good and freshly prepared. I could go on.

Stayed for one night to attend a wedding reception locally. Was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist, who also ordered us a taxi to get us to the wedding reception. The room was very spacious and bed comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. No complaints, would stay again.

With the warmest of greetings I was shown to my room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This is the first time I have slept all night in a hotel or B&B for many years. Breakfast was delicious and gave me a tremendous start to my day.
Thank you so very much.

Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat.

What is the best area to stay in Fornham All Saints?
The best area to stay in Fornham All Saints is Fornham All Saints itself, particularly around the main village green and St. Genesius Church.
This small, pretty village offers a tranquil setting with a few local amenities. It's characterised by traditional Suffolk architecture, including flint-faced cottages and a historic pub. The main street, The Street, runs through the village centre, connecting the church and the village green.
Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find Fornham All Saints ideal. It provides a quiet base for exploring the surrounding Suffolk countryside and is conveniently close to Bury St Edmunds for day trips without being in the hustle and bustle of a larger town.
For those prioritising convenience and direct access to amenities, staying closer to the A134 on the outskirts of the village provides easy road links to nearby towns and attractions.
