"Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. We got lost our first night out and after a quick call, Graham got us back on track and was actually on his way out to find us when we turned up the drive! That is the level of hospitality provided. "Hotel public areas nice. Bedroom furniture a little tired in the room we were in. Very clean all over. Breakfast good and lots of choices albeit not the cheapest at £15.95 a head. Dinner choices ok but felt the quality for the money was lacking a bit. Service wasn’t great, waiting staff taking your drinks order weren’t allowed to take food orders. Another waitress had to do that! Staff were all very pleasant and helpful though."

"Nice staff, a lot of information provided. Off street parking is just next to the hotel. Lidl’s within short walking distance. Rooms and the building itself are little tired. Bathroom was a tiny one, but everything worked fine (except the extractor fan). Decorating was little outdated. But if you are looking for affordable stay overnight or few nights stay, then I would recommend it."

"Welcomed by very friendly staff at reception. Beautiful setting and views from the restaurant and bar. Beach is directly opposite and the town is a short walk away. Twin room was a little small and as the weather was unusually warm, it felt a bit stuffy but it was very clean and towels changed each day. We had breakfast both mornings and also had lunch one day and dinner. All the food was great and the service was excellent. Would definitely return but would pay a bit extra for a sea facing room."

"The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee etc. Kettle and a small iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed, at least I slept well. The only downside, for which I've taken a star is that the room next door was very noisy on the day of the arrival, some ladies/ girls, laughing out loud and could hear them as they were in my room. Every time they used the toilet, I could hear the door, water flushing etc...very loudly. After a full day of travelling, I would have appreciated some peace and quiet. I haven't made the host aware about this, there is a note at the entrance to keep it down and respect the other guests, but I suppose, not everyone is considerate and educated. The hotel is in a quiet area, couldn't hear the outside noise, just from the next door. I stayed in rm 4. At the time they were not serving meals, but there are plenty places where you can eat around, one of them is 5 minutes walk and they have a shop there as well. (On the expensive side). But there are supermarkets and everything if you need anything."
