"We had a fantastic stay at the Celtic Manor, all the staff are well trained, polite, friendly & attentive. The hotel & grounds are stunning with a huge choice of bars & restaurants. "From the moment we arrived, we were met by friendly and incredibly helpful staff. Check in was straightforward and seamless and the member of of staff was friendly. Lots of little extra touches in the room, due to it being a birthday celebration. A lovely, spacious and clean room. Will definitely stay here again as the location was perfect for wandering into the centre of Bristol and close to bars and restaurants."

"Arriving you have to climb 8or so steeps and there was zero help with the luggage. Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. Arrived and people at front desk were kind and helpful (other than lack of bellmany but office door open, paper shredder working overtime, and it wasn't the wonderful experience I had hoped on first entry. Rooms well appointed with water and soft drinks (not a single biscuit or crisp -strange) but all in all nice, but not up to top par as it suggests Location perfect but please "fix how we enter our stay as it set the tone in the wrong way" and give me a biscuit for my tea in the morning"
