"A really nice cottage with all amenities as advertised. It is quite remote but OK if you have a vehicle. Very quiet. For longer stays, a clothes line or dryer would be an added benefit. We would stay again."

"Margo is a responsive host and helped us with location details, transportation information and ideas for enjoying our stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommend the beautiful cottage and its location. It gave us a break from the busy downtown after long days of travel and seeing the city. The garden is an amazing part of the stay! Minutes away, there were grocery stores and Margo provided a lovely greeting basket that gave us things to enjoy after getting off a long flight. Awesome experience!"

"Very unclean and uncared for. Had to have fresh towels and toilet paper given by site manager. Had to clean microwave before use. Hairs in bed. B5 o mattress protectors. Shower smelled badly. Broken blinds in some rooms. Stale smell from soft furnishings. Some main lights did not work or lamps missing bulbs. Many other issues. Report sent to Sykes Cottages and awaiting response. Only stayed because a family emergency and venue nearby or would have left."
