Great hotel in Edinburgh by Murrayfield Stadium, so not in the heart of the city, but easy buses just outside the hotel to get you there. I really like the hotel, but the rooms are dated and need a renovation, although that is not a major negative. If the rooms could be spruced up the hotel would be exceptional if you prefer staying in non-chain hotels.

Great space for the price. Comfortable, spacious, and well located. However, the apt was very warm since you cannot open any windows and it was 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit when I was there. Thankfully, they provided a fan which I had running 24/7 when I was there.

A little disappointed. Elevator 1 was out for our entire stay and we had to personally haul our luggage up 4 flights, bed was extremely firm, robes were stiff and scratchy, our air went out and window wouldn't open. Hotel provided us with a fan. Lobby area quite small. Location was excellent - right by the train station and bus station and around the corner from the Royal Mile. The young staff was efficient. Good coffees and teas in room along with sparkling and still water daily and 2 samples of Scotch upon arrival. Good lighting in bathroom with a make up mirror that was located in a perfect place for optimum use. Wouldn't classify this as a luxury hotel

Great location, very clean and spacious!

Unfortunately, I was assigned to Room 310 because all the rooms before Room 310 would have elevators! I need to walk many turns and climb many stairs to reach my room！ In addition , I'm also very dissatisfied with the toilet! It takes a long time to get hot water when taking a shower! The structure of the faucet and sink in the hand-washing area ensures that water splashes all over the floor every time you use water
