This place was amazing! The owners and staff were beautiful and went above and beyond to accomodate us and make our stay just perfect. Food was amazing, plenty to do and any transport, activities, etc staff arranged for us hassle free. Will definitely be back 😊

Feel like part of a family at this lovely hotel instead of a room number. Roving nannies are fantastic and will help even with babies and toddlers. Kids club is relaxed and informal. A great hotel for families with kids under 8. Will be back

Relaxing, quiet and fun
We stayed as a couple for 9 nights in July and enjoyed our time here. Everybody else had young children who were well behaved and we had a bungalow further from the pool and nanny area. This is a great place for young families. The evening performances by local people were great. We often did kayaking to the islands out in the lagoon and twice stopped in for lunch at the nearby upmarket Eratap resort. Big thanks to Rose and owners for arranging a rental car, day trip to Lelepah island and overnight to the volcano at Tanna island, you were very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly.

Lovely resort with only a small number of rooms giving you a personal feel. The staff did everything they can to please and ensure a relaxing enjoyable holiday. They have nanny's that are available for free to play with the kids while you are in the resort. While we want to enjoy the holiday with the kids, the kids enjoyed the time with the nanny's including doing special activities like weaving, local style cooking and adventuring to a nearby island. The nanny's are from the local village thus helping to support the community.

We had a great time staying at Aquana, the staff are friendly and will do above and beyond to make your stay an awesome one. Kids had heaps of fun, the kayaks were free you can kayak to a number of islands opposite the resort. It is a bit removed from the main road so you need to get a bus or hire a driver / car to go around, otherwise you won't have much to do. We had a great time the 3 nights we stayed.

Nice stay. Relaxing thanks to the nannies and the lovely staff. Beds are uncomfortable unfortunately and some furnitures need updating. Grounds are immaculate.

Most staff are nice and friendly. It's a great place to have a bit break from the kids for parents. Overall food are nice but limited choice for kids menu and food are salty.

Child friendly resort
The staff were great. The food was great. The service was great. However, while the single beds were comfortable, the queen bed was hard and unfortable. The pillows were also all unfortable. The airconditioning worked wonderfully. The bathroom, while basic, was adequate. The shower was hot with lots of pressure. The fridge was cold, not like the fridge and shower on Iririki or the shower on Iririki where we stayed last year. We would stay at Aquana again.

Very family friendly
My kids (ages 4 & 8) absolutely loved the kids club. Valerie and her wonderful team of nannies made all the difference. My kids couldn't stop talking about the nannies and all the fun activities they did. We went on the snorkeling trip operated by the resort and they arranged to have a nanny go along to keep an eye on the kids while the adults snorkeled. The guy from the beach hut who took us on the snorkeling trip was so patient with the kids, taught them to snorkel and guided them to view the fish and coral while lying on a kickboard with a see through plastic panel. The rest of the staff at the resort were also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful unforgettable family holiday thanks to the lovely team at Aquana.

Relaxed family resort
We were looking for a smaller resort with access to all the simple water activities, to share our 70th birthdays with our daughters and their families (5 children ages 3 to 11) Aquana was perfect, a safe environment with lots to do : on land all children participated in lovely activities organised by Valerie & her skilled team of Nannies ; on the lagoon lots of kayaking & paddle-boarding. Good food, enjoyable evening entertainment enhanced the stay. Because we hired cars we could access Zipline & Mele Cascades though road access to resort is a challenge.

An excellent place to stay especially for families with very young children. The nannies are amazing and always on hand to watch your children. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can arrange any tours you may want to go on. Food in restaurant is delicious.

Nice, quiet, small family run resort
Great experience for families. Our 6 year old had a ball! All staff without exception were very friendly and capable and also great with kids. The owners were fantastic and very helpful with arranging excursions and transport. No stone was left unturned. Lovely restaurant on the water and with a great menu and food. Will return

Perfect Place For A Honeymoon or a Family Holiday!
My husband and I loved staying at Aquana Beach Resort for our honeymoon. Everyone is very friendly and always very accommodating. It is a beautiful place to stay great accommodation, food, relaxing atmosphere where you can have a drink via the pool, read a book in the hammocks at the front of the bungalows. Also the chance to go kayaking or paddle boarding, get a massage or enjoy some time in the spa. You can order room service at no extra charge or you can dine at the restaurant. At Aquana they have different activities happening too for example the opportunity to watch some epic fire dancing and a trivia night too. Free buffet breakfast too each morning. When I was sick the staff offered me panadol and provided cooling washers and asked how I was feeling the next day. The staff at Aquana look after their guests and staff really well taking the time to ask if everything is ok with your meal and more then happy to answer questions. My husband and I definitely recommend staying at Aquana Beach Resort and we will be coming back here in the future for a holiday!

Amazing location, Such friendly and attentive staff- they couldn't do enough for us. Whisk the kids away to have fun while you relax round the pool with a cocktail! The kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for exploring the island opposite the resort- kids loved falling in to the safe lagoon and splashing about. Great snorkelling off island in front of resort too. Recommend getting a taxi transfer from airport (about 4,000 VT) rather than the resort's transfer tho.

Wonderful relaxing holiday with young kids
What a delightful experience. I knew it would be good, based on previous reviews but it surpassed all expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly. The nannies were wonderful. We spent 8 days at Aquana with a 1 year old and 4 year old. What a treat to be able to feed the kids early and then linger over our own dinner and drinks while they played nearby with the nannies. The resort is situated on a beautiful lagoon and you can kayak across to a beautiful beach. The lovely Gilbert can drop you out to a deserted island for a few hours at high tide where you can snorkel and picnic. Nice to have a bit of space and privacy in a 2 bedroom bungalow. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, but especially to families with young children who want a relaxing break. None of us wanted to leave. Thank you Aquana!

Real holiday for parents
Since our daughter doesn't have any sibling we as a parents often need to spend quite some time being playmates with her so we wanted to stay somewhere she could play with other kids hopefully under the eyes of caretaker. Then here it was! The resort was isolated and environment was safe, several nannies always around kids and they take really good care of them. We were so pleased that we could send off our daughter to the Kids club with no worry and had quiet time and even some meals alone. We were quite impressed that all the staff were flexible and they do what needs to be done no matter if it is their role or not. Our daughter had a great time and we as parents were able to enjoy really lazy holiday for the first time since our daughter was born. Friendly atmosphere and staff made us not to care about the few small inconveniences!

Paradise!
I have just returned from a week at Aquana with my husband and two daughters ages 3 and 1 and can't speak highly enough of the place. We have been to some amazing 5 star resorts around Europe and the Middle East so didn't set our expectations too high with booking a 3.5 star resort but were blown away by how lovely it was! There was literally nothing to fault! The 2 bedroom villa was huge and spotlessly clean, the food delicious and very large portions and we were surprised to get the most amazing amuse bouche before every dinner! The staff were so lovely and helpful and helped us plan our trips (thanks to Gilbert for recommending The Hideaway when we said we were searching for amazing snorkelling and boy was it amazing!) the biggest thing for us were the nannies who were always on hand to help with our little ones. They would walk out baby around in the pram while she had her first nap, take our 3 year old in the trampoline or crab hunting or sit and watch a movie with her. We found ourselves having breakfast together alone, drinking afternoon cocktails and actually getting to talk to each other and then eating dinner together every day! We feel so refreshed and relaxed and still had an amazing holiday playing with the children but just with an extra pair or two of hands to help us. Fabulous fabulous place, thank you to everyone that made it so lovely and we can't wait to see you all next year :)

An ideal family resort.
We stayed at Aquana for 8 days with our 18 month old daughter and would thoroughly recommend it. If our daughter had not been unwell (and perhaps had been a bit older), it would have been the most relaxing holiday ever! The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The facilities, including the pool and trampoline, were of high quality and beautifully kept. The staff are great- the front desk staff were so helpful when our daughter was unwell, the restaurant staff never failed to accommodate our requests, and the nannies are so warm and friendly and tireless! A particular highlight for us was the restaurant. As "foodies" we were a little concerned about being "trapped" at one restaurant, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The menu is broad and the dishes were, almost without fail, very well done. The trips out to a nearby island for snorkeling (at no extra cost) were a highlight.

Total relaxation for parents and fun for everyone
I am living proof that it is possible to relax whilst on a holiday with kids! Aquana's kids club concept is unlike any we have ever experienced. The nannies introduced themselves at check-in and whisked the kids away for hours of fun. Our kids (6 and 8) loved playing foosball, jumping on the trampoline, exploring the beach, swimming and more, all under the watchful eyes of Valery and her warm and trustworthy team. The food was excellent. We ate pancakes for breakfast nearly every day and also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, all of which was included in the rate. Lunches and dinners were delicious, too, with great vegetarian options for me, plenty of meaty choices for my husband and a fantastic kids menu. The prices were on par with Sydney cafes, so we felt no need to leave the resort at night to seek out other options. We also enjoyed the drinks menu, with its wide selection of cocktails, wine and beer at reasonable prices. Our two-bedroom bungalow (#7) on the lagoon was clean and very, very quiet and was well-equipped with air con, ceiling fans, a small fridge, glasses and free bottled water. The TV and DVD player got a good workout during a rainy day. The resort has an excellent selection of DVDs for kids and adults. Fabienne, Marcel and their team could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We did not want to leave and are already dreaming of our next trip.

Let your kids run free!
Service here is outstanding - the lovely staff really can't do enough for you. We took a short break, only four nights, for a bit of family time together. Free kids club - nannies lovely, perfect for 3yrs plus, or under 9 month old babies, but you can't expect toddlers to bond with a stranger. (Our 20 month old didn't want to go with nanny but that's OK.) Miles from anywhere - taxi/transfers very expensive NZ$70 from airport - but lovely quiet setting. We took our four year old out on kayak around bay. Nice pool area. Prepare to pay NZ$40 for a main meal... Overall a brilliant hotel for a family with kids under 10 yrs.

Great Family holiday resort - Relaxing, friendly
Aquana Beach Resort was the ideal location for our family holiday with 2 teenage kids. The accommodation cabins were neat and tidy, air conditioned and serviced everyday. The staff were excellent and nothing was a problem for them especially Rose in reception. We spent 14 days at the resort over the christmas period and it was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The location of the resort away from Port Villa was ideal. Being able to canoe and snorkel everyday directly off the resorts beach provided plenty of different activities to do when not just relaxing around the pool. The food was excellent with a variety of meat, seafood and pasta dishes. Although we did not require it, the kids baby sitting service is a great idea and provides parents of children of all age the opportunity to relax and enjoy the holiday while the kids are well looked after and entertained. I would totally recommend Aquana Beach resort to all travellers.

Excellent resort for families
We had the most relaxing holiday of our lives at Acquana Resort. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcomed. Our children were immediately whisked away by the delightful nannies who provide a fun and safe environment for the resort kids to socialise in. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and ceiling fans. It would have been helpful to have had an extra mirror in one or both bedrooms (the only one is in the bathroom) but other than that, the bungalows have all that you will require. The food was very good and the staff are incredibly helpful with suggestions for what to do in the local area and for day excursions. We will be returning!

Beautiful Resort 20 minutes from Port Vila.
All staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our stay. Excellent food and service from the restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay and we would wake up to plates of fresh fruit, hot cooked breakfast, all cereals and toast. It was amazing. We went into town and shopped most days and found the complimentary shuttle bus very handy. The bus leaves at 10am each morning and returns at 2pm. This cost was also included in our stay. The rooms were very modern and clean. Staff cleaned our rooms daily. There were outside activities we could do which were at no extra cost such as kayaking, snorkeling, and village tour. Beautiful pool area and great place for families with young children.

Fantastic Resort, Great for Families
We have just returned from the most wonderful time in Vanuatu, and a big part of that is thanks to the incredible stay we had at Aquana Beach Resort! A bit out of town, but easily accessed by their free daily shuttle, it had catered for our every need. They seem to have the balance of activities, friendliness and help just right. The food was fantastic and free full service breakfast was great (definitely try the eggs benedict!) The nannies were unobtrusive and just loved to play with the children so that we could enjoy our meal (or cocktails!) while the kids were jumping on the trampoline, weaving baskets, having their faces painted, or playing with any number of toys provided for them. Our room was clean and suited our needs well, and cleaned everyday by lovely and friendly staff. And we were offered free use of the kayaks and snorkeling equipment (not offered at all resorts!). They entertained us with activities most evenings including local musician, custom dances, trivia night, and marshmallow roasting for the children! There are so many other great things about the resort, but the staff were really exceptional and treated us like a part of an extended family. We felt the place had a real sense of community and we were more than happy to just spend time at the resort with other guests we met there. Cannot wait to go back there next year!

A wonderful family resort!
We recently enjoyed a 12 night stay at Aquana Beach Resort and loved every minute of it. The Management and staff were so friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The food was delicious (even the kids loved their meals) and the Nannies that were on hand to entertain and care for the kids were lovely. We couldn't have had a better holiday and are looking forward to our next holiday to Vanuatu and Aquana.

This is a great resort for families but as a young couple wanting a romantic break it wasn't the best. Staff were lovely but service was really slow. The rooms were generous but the bed was so uncomfortable and squeaked at the slightest movement. It is also located about 30mins out of town which makes it a bit tricky/expensive to do other things in port Vila. I'd recommend for families who want to make use of child care facilities.

16 day family stay
We had a great experience. The resort is really well run and the staff fantastic. All their staff look out for the children and although our boys (9 & 11) are quite autonomous it was reassuring that they were being looked out for. Food at the restaurant was really excellent and great value for money. Resort helped us book all our tours and travel. Nothing was too had. The place is just 15 mins outside Villa which is handy. It's not too big a resort so that you arent competing with dozens of other people for food, facilities and staff. They had some good night time entertainment....especially the fire dance. Their inhouse run Eton Beach and Blue Lagoon tour was also very good. We would definitely recommend the place for a relaxing family or couples getaway where you don't have to compete with the masses as in the larger resorts. Can't speak more highly about the staff...absolutely fantastic.

Our Perfect Holiday Destination!
My husband and I recently returned from our 7 day stay at Aquana. The management and staff are ALL amazing. This is a very family friendly resort and the service is excellent. It was a very relaxing holiday and we hope to return one day.

Wonderful!!
Wonderful resort with wonderful staff and owners. Very friendly service. Rooms as expected for 3.5 star resort, daily housekeeping, aircon, mini fridge, clean, TV etc. Quiet and stunning location, free daily shuttle to & from Port Vila and loaner ph supplied in case you want to come back earlier/later. Food is absolutely wonderful. Cannot rave enough about this place, the food, the location, owners and staff! Will be back if it's within my powers!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
We loved our stay at Aquana. Staff and owners are so helpful and accommodating. The resort is small, and the service is personal, and we felt very welcomed. Free kayaks, snorkelling equipment and dvd hire really made our stay extra special. Also great entertainment from fire dancers, and local cultural group. Our children are 12 and 16, and loved the resort, the kayaks especially, but smaller children were well looked after by the staff, who catered to their every need.
